Axe Dark Temptation

Axe is one of the leading brands of deodorant for men. Introduced in India over a couple of decades ago, Axe represents everything sexy and loads of passion. It is also one of the most affordable deodorants for men in India. 

There are several fragrances by Axe, all of which sell like hot cakes, but the best selling of them all is the Dark Temptation. 

It has notes of smooth chocolate and has a cooling element that brings down your body temperature by about 6 degrees. It has a long lasting fragrance and also reduces the amount you perspire, keeping you dry and cool all day long. 

One downside is that Axe does contain denatured alcohol in its ingredients. While this isn’t necessarily something that will cause irritation for many people, it could cause dryness of the skin and redness for some. 

NIVEA Men Deodorant, Fresh Active

The name Nivea, gives me the impression that this deodorant is going to take care of your skin while also keeping you dry and fresh all day long. 

The Fresh Active by Nivea maintains the reputation with its gentle, dermatologically approved formula. It is called a “care complex” which nourishes the skin and keeps your underarms from redness, irritation or burning sensation.

It has ocean extracts which lend this deo its super fresh scent. Nivea has a very masculine fragrance that protects your skin from body odour and the undesirable wetness.

 It is also long lasting and smells good the whole day. If you want a muskier fragrance, check out Nivea’s “Power Boost” with citrus notes and “Power Charge” with oriental notes.

Nivea is a premium brand but the deodorant is priced quite reasonably. 

Set Wet Deodorant

The fragrance you use must be a reflection of your personality. Whatever your personality may be, cool, charming, sexy or full of swag, you are sure to find a scent in Set Wet that will be apt for you.

These scents have a long lasting formula that stays on right from the time you spray it until you wash it off. However, on days that are very humid, you might want to reapply it if you find the fragrance wearing off.

The Set Wet Cool is a very fresh scent with notes of mint and ginger, with woody undertones. The Charm is a fragrance that is very musky with notes of cardamom, peppermint and lavender. Swag is also very popular. It is citrusy and has notes of patchouli and sandalwood with traces of grapefruit.

Nike Up Or Down

Nike Up or Down is an excellent deodorant for those who are very sporty. You can wear this deodorant spray with your casual clothes or when you’re stepping out in a pair of sweatpants and a tee shirt.

This has a warm woody base with notes of citrus, black pepper and spicy cardamom which give it its distinct masculine fragrance. It also has notes of white chocolate, moroccan rose, vanilla, sandalwood, tonka beans, white musk, Egyptian jasmine and mandarin. 

The formula prevents the build of bacteria that causes body odour, keeping you fresh. It has a prolonged deodorising property with a fragrance that is long lasting. So you’re assured that you will be dry and smelling good even on the hottest of days. 

The one downside is that this deodorant is not free of alcohol and could cause irritation if your skin is sensitive. 

Beverly Hills Polo Club

Established in 1982, Beverly Hills Polo Club stands for luxury. The deodorants by the brand have a very luxurious and sophisticated scent, inspired by the tropical setting of California.

The deo sprays have a skin friendly formula that is gentle and safe on your skin. The scents are long lasting and can handle a whole day of humidity and perspiration. 

The fragrances have floral notes with undertones of musk. 

Beverly Hills Polo Club is premium and the deodorants are also priced on the higher side. You can, however, get them for discounted prices online. 

Engage Sport

If you’re going to be spending a day out in the sun, indulging in water sports, check out Engage Sport. There are two versions of this fragrance, one is called “Cool” and the other is called “Fresh”.

Just the perfect scent that will make you smell cool and fresh, Engage Sport Cool lasts for about 3 to 4 hours. It does last longer if the day isn’t very hot and you aren’t sweating much.

It has citrusy notes blended with crisp apples, bringing a fruity and floral fragrance.

The formula is skin friendly and does not cause irritation or redness. Engage Sport is a good budget brand and is priced very nominally.

Fogg Marco Body Spray For Men

Fogg has an unmistakable distinctive scent, and Marco is a hot favourite of many men. Most Fogg sprays are known for their “cool dude” fragrance rather than the strong, muscular or musky fragrances.
