Redmi Hi-Resolution Audio Wired Earphone
You don’t have to really shell out a lot to get amazing earphones to accompany your tablet and Redmi Hi-Resolution Audio Wired Earphones are proof of that. These lightweight earphones are great for the price point, and like all Redmi products, last a long time.
The build is durable and the earphones have a sleek and premium finish. The sound quality is fantastic, with well balanced bass and treble.
I recommend these earphones especially if you have a Redmi or an Mi phone because you can use the equaliser on your phone to make your listening experience even better.
The earphones come in 3 attractive colours, so take your pick.
Skullcandy Ink’d
Skullcandy has always been the leader of funky earphones with their unique colours and interesting prints on their products. But, that’s not the only thing that has appealed to all the Skullcandy fans out there.
The earphones always have superior sound quality and they fit comfortably. Skullcandy Ink’d are wireless earphones that are connected using Bluetooth, accessing a range of about 20 feet and are compatible with both Android as well as Apple phones.
They are super light in weight, even if you have these around your neck the whole day.
The build is quite durable and the earphones have quite a bit of flexibility to them as well, which means you can use them while resting or when exercising.
The earphones are powered by a Lithium Metal battery which holds charge for about 6-7 hours while active and much longer on standby.
Sony MDR-XB510AS
You didn’t think there was going to be a list of the top earphone brands in India without a Sony on it, did you?
The Sony MDR-XB510AS has a high price point, but is worth every penny, especially if you love the clarity of the music you listen to.
These are wired earphones specially designed for athletes and sports people. The arc supports help these sit in the ears with a snug fit and they are waterproof, so you can happily wear them for your practice without worrying about sweat ruining them.
You can even wash them to keep them hygienic.
The bass is extra powerful, giving you just the motivation you need to complete your workout session.
The call quality is also excellent with a sharp mic, accompanied with flat wire cables that are tangle-free.
To top all of this, the Sony MDR-XB510AS comes in 4 different colours.
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition
OnePlus has a reputation of being one of a kind in the smartphone world.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition earphones aim to keep up the reputation with a powerful bass, strong build and excellent connectivity with all devices possible.
These earphones are powered by a quick charging Lithium ion battery that can give you about 15 to 20 hours of active listening time when fully charged.
These premium earphones are super lightweight and so comfortable that you may not even realise you’re wearing them the whole day.
These earphones don’t cost a bomb, but they aren’t cheap either. They are priced in the same range as the Sony MDR-XB510AS.
JBL C100SI
If you’re looking for a pair of low budget, yet excellent quality earphones, you simply cannot go wrong with a JBL.
Agreed, JBL is definitely not a Bose or a Sony, but with the C100SI in-ear earphones, you get almost close.
JBL has always excelled when it’s come to the depth of the bass and it’s not any different in the C100SI.
These earphones also come with a mic with automatic noise cancellation technology and a one-button remote.
You can also access Google Assistant with the push of a button. These lightweight earphones are great companions on your run or when you have to use them the whole day.
They come in 3 different colours, so you can match your smartphone.
boAt Bassheads 225
Another economical brand that does not compromise on the quality of the sound is boAT.
These earphones come with a cord that is tangle-free, which is great news if you always get your cables tangled up and struggle for hours trying to untangle them. The sound quality, especially when you’re using it for a call is really good.
The bass, however, is not very strong, although the name says so. If you love treble, you will enjoy these earphones.
The mids and lows are very crisp. boAt Bassheads 225 comes in about 7 different colour options for the fashion conscious to choose from.
Sennheiser CX 180
I’ve got a couple of earphones for you on today’s list from Sennheiser and both are equally fantastic.
The first one we’re going to review is the Sennheiser Cx 180 in-ear earphones. These are priced in the same affordable price point as the boAt Bassheads 225 and the JBL C100SI.
While the sound quality is similar in all three earphones, I find that the Sennheiser CX 180 feels the most comfortable while using it, especially for longer durations. The one disadvantage in these earphones however is that there is no mic.
There are no extra buttons to regulate the volume so you will have to have your phone nearby to do that.
These are pure earphones and they do the job well.
Sennheiser M2 IEI Momentum
The other set of earphones by Sennheiser that have made it to the Top Earphones in India is the M2 IEI Momentum.
These are very impressive, high-end earphones priced as a premium product, but consider them an investment for the awesome sound quality you get to listen to, day in and day out.
These earphones are built with stainless steel acoustic pipes to enhance the listener experience along with a high quality dynamic speaker system for balanced sound.
The elliptical cables are built to minimise sound loss and to stay tangle-free. These are compatible with Apple and Samsung Galaxy devices and you can control the functions with the in-line remote.
Bose SoundSport
For the music and sound obsessed, Bose always has earphones that do not have a competition in the market.
Yes, you might have to break the bank to buy these but hey, you can’t put a price on the experience.
The Bose SoundSport is designed to be sweatproof and weatherproof with a hydrophobic cloth covering keeping moisture away, so these are your ideal companions for all your intense workouts.
Bose manages to achieve the one thing that the mid range brands fail at – consistent high quality sound, optimised and balanced at even the loudest volumes.
These earphones are wireless, bluetooth as well as NFC enabled and are compatible with most devices.
Realme Buds Wireless Pro
Go colourful with the Realme Buds Wireless Pro earphones. These are premium quality earphones at a high price point with active noise cancellation, so you are assured of music and calls with no external disturbances.
They are powered by lithium polymer batteries which charge very quickly and give you about 13 hours on active noise cancellation mode.
The earphones are lightweight with a very flexible neck band giving you comfort even when worn for long periods of time.
These are just the earphones you should choose to watch movies and videos or when you’re gaming, as these have a very low latency, giving you the perfect sync between audio and video.
1MORE Piston Fit Earphones
1More earphones have held their forte for quite some time now with super quality products, with prices varying from mid-range to high-end.
The 1MORE Piston Fit Earphones fall in the first category while the other 1More earphones I have reviewed here fall in the second category.
The 1MORE Piston Fit Earphones are built to be sturdy and comfortable with excellent sound quality.
The highs, mids and the bass are all crisp and strong. 1More claims that all their earphones have been tuned by a Grammy winning sound engineer and that’s how they are able to deliver this quality.
They also have a neat and sleek design with a very premium finish.
1MORE Triple Driver Earphone
I simply love how sexy these earphones look with the black and gold combination. And they perform equally well too.
The 1MORE Triple Driver earphones are priced on the higher end and they come with quality and luxury that justifies the price.
With three drivers, these earphones deliver mids, highs and lows with superb precision and accuracy.
You have the in-line remote that you can use to regulate the volume, control the music playing as well as answer calls.
When you pay so much for earphones, you expect comfort, and the 1MORE Triple Driver Earphones deliver that with 6 sets of silicone eartips and 3 sets of foam eartips in different sizes.
They come with a storage case and a travel case along with a dual prong airline adapter and a shirt clip, all for your convenience.
